Real.

What is being real!? Does it exist anymore? How can we be deeply authentic if we think that "how we look" is top priority? Of course, caring about our appearance and being healthy is not unimportant or "beneath us." We each have our own personal "way of being," our God-given uniqueness that makes up our character and image. But while everybody is worried about the outer beauty, we need to remember that its only skin deep and that true beauty lies with in.

Because even though our parents have said for years that it's what's on the inside that counts, their voices get drowned out by the thousands of voices we hear everyday from the media. Whether it be a television show or a magazine.

Over a century ago, Henry Ward Beecher got it right: "Clothes do not make the man, but once he is made, they greatly improve his appearance."
